Spaced Repetition Learning

In 1885 Hermann Ebbinghaus published his hypothesis which has become known as "The Forgetting Curve" ,

this has specific relevance to training delivery.  

The Learning Concept has developed a set of unique processes that mean the forgetting curve is beaten.

This ensures our training delivers long term sustainable changes

in positive behaviour and results for our clients.

Leadership

Specifically designed for those who wish to understand, craft, broaden and deepen their 

own unique leadership practice.

Our leadership programmes offer the space to examine leadership, its philosophy, latest discourses and how it applies in a fast paced modern world.

Bespoke Development

Our clients often commission us to design and deliver highly bespoke training interventions. 

For example: Mindfulness Training, Mentoring Programme, Collaborative Selling, Aspiring Manager Programme.

Our Process for Designing a Partnership

We pride ourselves on our unique and comprehensive process 

for building a partnership and training design. 

It has 5 elements, they are:

- initial meeting we want to listen and understand exactly what your business needs and how we can help you with your people development.

- walking the floor part of building that understanding is for us to spend time with you seeking  to understand how life is for

 your teams, managers, and leaders. 

- initial design submission  once we have some initial thoughts we will explore them with you for agreement. 

Only when you are 100% confident will we sign off design.

- meet the delivery team  knowing who will deliver your development, building a relationship together and understanding their style is crucial,.

Will they inspire your people?

- regular touch points we need to constantly review how the development programme is rolling out, adjust as needed and deal with what emerges.

Our Approach to Development

Our training delivery is inspiring, engaging, informative and fun but more than that it offers some unique elements that help beat the forgetting curve.

- meet the managers this is a bespoke event event for line managers of participants. It explores their critical role in the process 

and covers the training material.

- meet the Participants prior to any programme commencing, we meet with participants to introduce our selves, the programme and 

setup the processes for success.

- learn Apply Review all programmes are spaced over a number of months, with each module delivered monthly. Therefore, learning is applied live as the programme rolls out. Participants are expected to discuss their application at the start of the next session.

 - monthly  line manager reviews a meeting between participant and line manager to explore learning and application. This provides line managers with knowledge of development of their people.

- business innovation projects all participants are tasked with a project at the conclusion of the programme. This is aimed at improving a process, saving, time, energy, cost or increasing effectiveness and demonstrating a bottom line impact. We have seen projects that have evidenced £343K from a single programme, another individual project has delivered in excess of £500k of additional revenue and climbing.

- Graduation Day a specific event where projects, growth, learning and evidence of application is formally presented to the senior team.

This is the culmination of any programme.
